Our Story

Our story begins with a trade. As of the current date, Matt has been working in the trades as a plumber for over 15 years.

Throughout his years, he has made many repairs to industrial piping applications and has replaced many old setups that have faithfully served their purpose for many decades with new materials.

But what became of the old piping that was replaced in favor of new setups? Much of it is still good quality piping. And it's not uncommon to find piping made as far back as the 1940s or even earlier, by companies that no longer exist.

It turns out that it all ended up in a landfill. What a horrible waste of good quality materials. And not to mention the environmental impact.

Many years ago, Matt began rescuing this piping. He began collecting lengths of black iron pipes and fittings and pairing them with new materials from plumbing supply houses when particular reclaimed parts couldn't be found, in order to make tables, lamps, and shelving for his house!

He would soon begin gifting these steampunk creations to friends and family, so instead of being cast aside, this material can continue to serve a very important purpose for many more decades to come, as beautiful, unique, eye-catching functional art!

Well, fast forward to the present time. Matt has decided to take his hobby for rescuing old materials, for combining new and old, to the next level!

Now you can have your very own steampunk, black iron pipe creation made from the same high-quality materials that actual plumbers use for industrial applications. The same materials that Matt has been using to make furniture for his own house and the houses of his friends and families will be used for your functional art piece!
